Polar bear Knut died in Berlin today

Famous polar bear Knut died today in Berlin. He was raised by humans because his mother wanted to eat him. She already had killed his little brother. His human father died already 2 years ago. RIP

I know that I have several Japanese visitors of this blog. The events of the past week in Japan have been more than shocking and very saddening. My thoughts and prayers are with you in Japan and I hope that all of you are safe.
