Blue mini snuff with stitched nose

Source

I have never before seen this little blue snuff with a stitched nose. I know of a brown, white, and tan one. This was just sold at an auction. Cute, isn't it? I do not know the reference of this little blue snuff.

Snuffles made new friends

My Snuffles loves to travel, and we went on a roadtrip last week and visited a friend. My friend turns out to be a bear collector as well. Snuffles immediately made new friends, and you can see how happy he is...

Snuffles playing piano

Snuffles decided to play piano today... The quality of the picture could be better, it was shot late in the evening with flash. Snuffles loves Scott Joplin's "Maple Leaf Rag"...

Continuation of my Snuffles blog

I see that plenty of visitors, collectors, teddy bear enthusiasts etc. come to my blog.

I am still looking for someone who would love to join me in maintaining this blog, helping me find new information, deliver pictures of their snuffles, as I am not living in the US currently, and I have limited access to acquire new snuffleses...

I will try to maintain it, and come up with new pictures etc.

I spoke to Gund recently, it looks like there aren't any plans to come out with a new Snuffles. The only Snuffles sold currently is the white Snuffles in 4 sizes I think, 6,9,10,13.5 inches.

I acquired a Snuffles Book and will post a pic. I am getting a Snuffles catalogue in a couple days as well. There are some other interesting Snuffles items out there...

My biggest Snuffles: The Millenium Snuffles

Today was a beautiful and sunny day in Germany, and my biggest snuffles decided to get a suntan in my garden.

I decided to wash him today, and let him dry in the sun. He looks much cleaner now.

Geocities

My understanding is that Geocities is shutting down. Unfortunately. There are several very good Snuffles homepages hosted on Geocities, I do not know if the owners of these homepages will move their sites to another service. I just wanted to mention this.

If you click here, you will see several good links to Snuffles homepages that may soon be disconnected.

What kind of Snuffles would you design that does not exist?

If you could have a custom ordered Snuffles, what kind of Snuffles would you like to have? I am curious what collectors and snuffles lovers around the world are thinking? Please post your ideas in my comments. I hope that a lot of people will participate.

OK, sofar I have only received one suggestion, however, this one is really interesting: a Panda Snuffles. Wouldn't that be an exciting idea?

Looks like I have a whole bunch of suggestions now:
1 - a Panda Snuffles
2 - a 14-inch snuffles with bright, slightly shimmering, rainbow
stripe fur
3 - a 7-inch crimson red snuff
4 - a large 30 inch Mohair snuffles

What else?

My first snuffles

This was my very first snuffles, I bought him about 10 years ago in Chicago, at FAO Schwartz on Michigan Avenue back then. His nose is a little bit rubbed off, other than that, he is still in great condition. He is the 20 inch snuffles, a great size.

He is sitting in my sofa chair. To date, he is my favorite and most loved snuffles.

But his fellow brothers and sisters are on the way to Germany, it is taking forever, nearly 2 months. Maybe the boat ran out of gas??? LOL

Some thoughts today

Since I moved to Germany, chances of me buying any more Snuffles are much less. First, Snuffles was never sold in Germany. Gund only sold Snuffles in England of all places in Europe.

Second, buying Snuffles from the US is tedious, shipping charges are outrageous.

I wish someone who is a lover of Snuffles would collaborate with me, someone who has a lot of Snuffles at home, and possibly Snuffles that I have never seen before and that person could support me with my blog and post pictures of rare Snuffles.

For example, there are a lot of Gund dolls with a Snuffles bear, and I have never owned one, and posting all different variations would be a great enrichment for my blog. Last but not least, there are many other Snuffles that are not so popular, and pictures of those would be great as well.

If anyone reading this blog likes to participate, I can give blogging rights to them.

Meanwhile, I will continue browsing the web to find interesting pictures and stories about Snuffles. I am pretty busy here, so I will probably post less than once a week. But I will keep this blog going.

Pottery snuffles

I have been pretty busy moving and working lately. Thought this is an interesting snuffles, however, the flower in his paws is not original. Found this on Ebay, the auction ended at around 22 US$. Unfortunately, I did not save the link.

Reference 15174, sold only in 2004. He is pretty big, probably about 16 inches. Found this picture on the web, just cannot remember where. If this is your photo, let me know in the comments.

Largest current production snuffles

Source unknown

This is currently the largest snuffles in production. He is reference 15166, he is about 13.5 inches tall. I talked to Gund recently, they told me that the only snuffles they are currently producing ("ate" - typo corrected) are the white snuffles.
